ICM-II: CHEST, case 3

Is there an air-fluid level? Not a very good one, although there is gas in the stomach, it does not have a flat bottom. It could be that there is no fluid in the patient's stomach at this time.

What terminology would you use to describe the right lung finding? it is an OPACITY (too white)

Are they rotated? What about scapular position? Are they lordotic or kyphotic? Did they take a deep breath? The scapulae are not rotated laterally (we don't expect them to be rotated on a portable exam), but the patient is very straight (spinous processes centered). There is almost no lung above the clavicles, so they are lordotic. Their lungs are are taller than wide, but only a little, so the level of inspiration is not great.
