ICM-II: CHEST, case 2

TERMINOLOGY-The areas of vague streaky white in the lungs can be called opacities or densities. The area outlined in blue is very dense, similar to the dental work in the patient's jaw, and is therefore of metal density. You cannot tell from this one image where the object is from front to back. It could be lying on the table under the patient, within the patient, or on their clothing in front. In fact, it is a metal button on their clothing.
