ICM-II: ABDOMEN, case 2

SUMMARY

To summarize, we reviewed how angiograms look, and how they can be displayed with dark or light background (inverted images). We practiced recognizing the major vessels to the GI tract on angiographic images, and also looked at an example of pneumatosis on a KUB, which can be seen in cases of vascular insult to the GI tract. We saw an example of minor degenerative changes in the spine visible on KUB that might indicate older age of a patient.
