There is a small amount of residual normal pituitary tissue on the right, shown in green. The infundibulum is shown in purple. Labels in yellow indicate the position of the optic chiasm and optic nerves/tracts, important structures to assess whenever there is a pituitary mass. The curving, complicated course of the carotid arteries on each side are shown in red. The tumor is encasing part of the left carotid but does not appear to be compressing it.
