The chest radiograph shows classic features of congestive heart failure. A systematic review includes 1) heart size (enlarged); 2) pulmonary vasculature (upward redistributed); 3) lung findings (diffuse haziness); 4) pleural findings (effusions). Use the labels to bring up each finding. What other imaging would be helpful in assessing heart function?

This is a normal chest radiograph in a different patient. Notice how dark the lungs appear just beyond the central hilar regions, and the nice sharp costophrenic angles at both bases.
