The greater tubercle (or tuberosity) of the humerus is missing--there is an abnormal lucency where it should be, marked with an 'X'. The bone in this region has been crushed, probably at the time of the prior shoulder dislocation. This type of compression of the bone is called a Hill-Sachs fracture.
