This site contains images intended for you to review PRIOR to the Radiology interactive session for the MGH PA Program Neuroscience course. Please look at the four cases before coming to class. These cases are intended to illustrate the importance of an understanding of imaging in actual clinical situations. Each case will use radiology to demonstrate neurological abnormalities. Questions will be posed for you to consider, and answers will be discussed in class. These cases should take no more than 30-45 minutes to review prior to class. Please come to class prepared to discuss all of the cases.

We will also emphasize use of EVIDENCE-BASED imaging, through reference to the American College of Radiology Appropriateness Criteria (ACR-AC). This is a useful resource available to all clinicians to help in choosing the most appropriate imaging for common clinical settings. Click on the button below to go to the site for an overview of the available topics. Use your browser 'back' button to return to the MGH PA Neuroscience website from the ACR-AC site.
