MRI is actually more sensitive for detection of many neurologic abnormalities than CT, but CT is more widely and rapidly available in many locations, so it is sometimes still done. And for detection of fresh blood, especially SAH, CT is actually better than MR. On this normal midline sagittal T1-weighted MR, try to identify the listed brain structures before checking the labels.
